I had it turned back on - then turned it off again yesterday morning when I
saw you having problems.  It seems to be peculiar to you . . 

This morning you connected at 33,600/12,000 for God's sake - and my ARQ
light was flashing like crazy.

Are you using wet string to connect to your exchange?
