That's a worry then, as I'd expect 2 Couriers to be 100% compatible with
each other, even if mine is a US/Canada model.

Dunno what the problem is, but those S/N figures are atrocious, and nothing
like the 38db I normally see with your modem.  If this continues, I'll drop
back to the 0123 SDL and see what happens, although I've been running the
0429 SDL for some weeks now, and this is the first time I've had problems
with your Courier.  Seems to have started about the time you enabled
adaptive answer.

DD> Are you using wet string to connect to your exchange?

My lines aren't perfect, but they still give me 33600/31200 connects to
your system, almost every time (the above two connects notwithstanding).
