ZJG> I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what comprises a good
ZJG> hip-hop turntable set up, the kind that they use to scratch and
JH> do all
ZJG> those ill effects, and if anyone does, could they lemme know
JH> the specs
ZJG> on it and the cabinet that it fit into? Thanks...
JH> Hi, I'm into hip-hop, but not that much into scraching. get some dj
JH> mags, or hip-hop mags, they have heaps of shit in there. Then look
JH> around in the local dj stores. The technics 1200 is very good
JH> turntable for scratching apprantly because it has highest torq of
JH> them. Then you'll need a cross fader, amp, speakers, and headphones
JH> with 1 earpeace only. There's much more you can ad, drum machine,
JH> sampler etc. Build yourown box, or use two 44 gallon drums like
JH> Rapid Force (NSW rap group) use.
Thanks for the info as far as the main equipment list I'd need...now I know
what kinda turntable to by, and what else I'm gonna need...I'd prolly build
my own box because I will be looking to add sampler and drum machine
(gmta!)...any particular mags you'd recommend?
