| subject: | TGPrintObject |
I have seen the TGPrintObject class posted here several times. I was
intrigued because it solved a problem I was having in a current
project.
First some background:
-My app is in VB6
- it calls reports in Access
- it previews the reports in Word
- but hangs (not to mention slow)
I tried the class and it works great! So good I wrote a program to
pull the report properties from Access and create a text file. I in
turn put that text file into my VB6 code. Worked like a charm.
Now the problem is that some of my reports go on to more than one
page. All the x and y's are absolute so they mess up on the next
page.
Solution needed:
1) a way to print a header on each page
2) a way to move things down the page based expanding data
Any help or ideas you can provide would be appreciated
