No, there's nothing mystical about what I experience.  Every artist says
  their works take on a life of their own...be they a christian,
agnostic, buddist or whatever.

Funny the most "Christian" people I've ever met in my life are
usually agnostics or athesists.

Actually, I don't paint, but sculpting would better describe what I do. And
yes, I redo, or redraft pieces I'm working on.  But to say I have complete
control is wrong.

Really?  Didn't know son of sam was an aritst.  No, there's really nothing
mystical about art taking on a life of its own.  And unless you create art
on an ongoing basis, I suspect it's not something you'd understand.
