I use OS/2 version myself, so I can say it IS stable.

I have a hub and regionwide netmail gate system, so I wouldn't use it if it
wasn't stable enough.
It's not bug-free, but I think you won't find any bug free software (except
maybe a "hello world" program).

That's really TOO MUCH to post here: lots of bug fixes and new features.

Better you get the archive BOS2_XR3.ZIP from Bob Juge's site and look into
XE_USER.DOC and also into the sample configs. You can also get it here
using the magic freq name BTXE_OS2 ...

Correct configuration of XR3 is maybe more than a "5 minutes job"
as you really should read XE_USER.DOC and the sample configs to adapt your
config file (or even better start with the sample configs and adapt them).
