What exactly is your argument?  Mine is that people who live off social
security aren't always 'bludgers', and his (David) was that they should
either get off their butts and work and not waste tax payers money .. Which
are you siding with?? You say some countries survive without benefits by
bludging off their families. But then, they grow up in a different society
and see what can happen if they don't work hard, people in Australia for
example don't think about these consequenses and aren't exposed to these
things, and unfortunately when it comes to the crunch they aren't qualified
or motivated enough to get a job. Others are redundancies or company
mergers which leave hundreds of workers out on the street, and it would be
very hard to adapt straight away to a new kind of work, not that they don't
try. Of course there are the slight minority whom would rather sit around
the house and do nothing than earn real money and work. But this is my
point, not everyone deserves to be forced to leave their house and go live
of their family or whatsoever.
