Precisely -- much like the days when BBSing was almost all free
because everybody had an interest & sysops were willing to fund a
relatively cheap operation out of their own pockets because it
was a hobby for them, too.  Nowadays, the overhead's gone through
the roof, & if it's gonna fly there has to be money.  Open wallet
or shut mouth, as it were.
