Alive. I feel the physically damaged may well be tested in court which is
how come the sudden US reversal on giving all prisoners GC rights, banning
a variety of practices, the "emptying" & admitting to of the
US secret prisons etc.

& has AQ's numbers & appeal grown or shrunk in part as a result of
people in secret prisons, torture/inhumane or degrading treatment etc.etc.?

Win the battle, lose the war. Undoubtedly this info was put out to
discredit the operatives involved (e.g. KSM & Zubaydah) while giving
them serious kudos by being actively talked about as individuals by the US
president etc.

AQ has always been a loose confederation of cells designed much like the
IRA etc to limit damage caused by captures & interrogation by limiting
knowledge to those who need to know.

Remember what I was saying a while back about the most useful ability is
the ability to forget?

If you really can't remember then you're a better operative.
