What folder and what settings?  There is the "CD-Writing Utilities"
folder and it is full of folders.  There are the "Create Data-CD" and
"Create Data-DVD" folders.  By "settings" does he mean
Properties? 
Which?

Not that it matters.  I can find no "Settings" notebook at all and I can
find no Properties Notebook with "REXX script" on any tab.

Turn off the Template property?  You must have something in eCS 1.2 that
I don't have in v 1.1.  I can find no CDRecord related properties
notebook with a "Template Property."
