Thanks for this reply. I have tried "everything", but I had not realized
that the IDE (which I stay in... yes, I'm the one!) shells out to compile.
I might as well use QEDIT or TSE ( I have them both reg'ged) and compile via
shroom or at the command line. That explains why "hooking up to the Network"
slows me down even tho' I have 32 Megs of MEM at work and only 4 meg at home
on the laptop where it's faster(the laptop is 486-25 vs work's Pentium90) I
will try just compiling it off the command line and write a batch thingy to
do it all. Then use the PB32 debugger in the IDE for sleuthing when I need
it. Appreciate muchly. David
