Pick another exit strategy. The > American Government were so sure they could install a democracy, let them > do it or die trying. It's not the Americans dying in this effort that worries me. It's the innocent Iraqis. It's a matter of record that Saddam is not a nice guy. He killed thousands in his efforts at repression. But he hasn't killed anything like as many as Shrub, or as callously - can Shrub morally remain in office while denying it to Saddam? I'm merely being practical - the exit strategy with the least potential for loss of life is to restore Saddam. However distasteful it might appear. Remember - the USA killed his children and has never produced evidence that either one was engaged in anything more serious that frat house hazing. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
