Hi Vic,

I'm pretty sure that was a maximum of 512MB where the problem occurred - 
since then should be overcome by the later kernels. Try it with just 
512MB fitted - what is currently on the disk that you are trying to 
install it onto?

Is that the *only* disk in this particular system?
If it is can you mount it in another working machine as a slave and 
redirect the output from "LVM /QUERY:ALL ,"
to .

Note disk numbering starts with "1", e.g. "d:\LVM /QUERY:ALL ,3 > 
d:\desktop\can't-install to this" if it's disk #3, and paste the results 
back here.

or Is it a "virgin"?
