Indeed. However if you go in, you go in alone.

Esp when the sources of the trouble are the two theo-ethnic states created
in the withdrawal from Empire, Pakistan & Israel.

Pakistan is the seat of AQ in reality, as an Arab implant fueled by the
partition & theo-ethnic violent actions with the Sikh & Hindu.
& as for
 the other source of trouble that's a western implant fueled by the
violent actions of the Germans with the Poles & then...the British,
French,  Soviets, US....Norway....Greece...etc.

Though that was an almost "anti-theo" cause given that neither of
the 2 main protagonists were "keen on priests"

Pakistan & Israel. The only 2 theo-ethnic states created in the
withdrawal form empire. My haven't they done well.

Cyprus managed to create 2 defacto theo-ethnic states but sadly only one
was recognised & even more sadly allowed to join the EU.

However in theory the 2 will still have to rejoin & thus lose their
theo-ethnic status.
