There were very very early VFast 24k max Zooms issued, but are you sure
that's not just the fastest speed the entire link (between your and the
remote's modem) can handle?

Ask the remote to get the update chip please?  ver1.000a for the internal
and ver1000d for the external, available free from Zoom to registered
warranty holders
