Sounds much like my amd64, it's 64 bit but will run 32 bit apps if
it can find the libs etc. that the 32 bit app needs. I just got the
safe cracker door going here, check your /etc/ld.so.conf as MB says
and if you need to add a /usr/local/lib line in there run ldconfig
afterwards.
