I agree with you. Cannon has a legitimate reason for refusing to supply
their service manuals. Not every refusal to sell a person stuff is a
"restrictive trade practice."

Me too, but that didn't stop me from buying a HP5L :-) But then, the
HP5L probably uses a Canon laser printer engine, as most laser printers
seem to do.
