Jim,

You must have something *seriously* wrong with your eCS installation -- 
if on the ICON tab of AFAIR *every* properties notebook, immediately 
under the "Title", in the "Extras" group there is no
check-box labelled 
*Template", immediately adjacent to the "Lock in place" check-box! =-O
