The other possibilty could be an IOPL problem. If an OS/2 device driver has
"virtualized" an I/O port and refuses to support the use of I/O hardware
instructions from within a VDM then this could be the result. What kind of
devices does this program use? In particular, what kind of devices not
supported by the BIOS does it use?
