The problem is that my modem is not answering the faxes that are comming in.  
and I KNOW that the CNG tone is being sent(I heard it) but my modme is not 
answering.  it picks up, spits out data answer tones for 2 seconds then that 
is it. it hangs up.
here is all the info, using FD 2.12
Init-1         ATZ|

Manual answer Yes
Force answer  AT+fcr=1+fdcc=1,5,0,2,0,0,0,0+fAA=1;A|

This is the latest sugestion that I was given. and it don't work also. I have 
also tryed a few others that other people have sugest.  and still no go.  I 
have also done what is said in your doc's and No go. The thing is this WAS 
working.  I had it set up exactly like you had in the doc's, and it did work 
I swear!, put I did something some time(I must have, but I don't rember what 
or when.) and now I had a phone call and I was told that my friend was trying 
to fax me for 2 weeks and no go.  So I have been trying every thign that 
every one has spit at me and still no go.  Any sugestions?? thanks,
