Some of the movies were fine for the big screen but they left alot out! Even 
Christine was abridged! John Carpenter is not a bad director but the movie 
had lost something in the translation from book to novel. :(
 
Salem's Lot was an okay mini-series being the first King work done for 
television but it also lost something in the transaction (maybe due tot the 
whole censurship issue...i'm not to sure) but a redoing of this movie in the 
90's would be pretty darn good! 
 
The Stand was a pretty good mini-series too...but it also lost something, 
maybe this would have been better as a one season televison show having 22 
episodes to tell the story instead of 6 hours?
