How can NVRAM not be loaded, was it not soldered on the modem board
properly? Has it fallen off? Why did you not want me to know that NVRAM
only lives on my HARD DRIVE. I could have accepted this, after all the
modem is a Winmodem, it is less than a regular modem. You chose to hide
this fact from me. You attempted to make me think I was not intelligent
enough to use this modem. Your installation procedure failed to assign the
proper path therefore the file winmodem.ini could not be found. By the
way, the file winmodem.ini is the Winmodem NVRAM. Winmodems do not have
NVRAM do they? I have used many USR modems in the past ten years and have
been pleased with them all. The one time I have a problem and ask for
assistance you at (support@usr.com) show you care less about your
customers. Would it of killed you to tell be you were trying to find a
solution? No, I think you at support had no idea as to what the problem
was and chose to ignore me. Hell of a way to run a company. By the way I
hear ZOOM makes a pretty good modem and a little cheaper.

MESSAGE THAT WAS NEVER ANSWERED

Being my Winmodem NVRAM will not save it's profile in either &W0 or &W1, I
must believe that my modem is defective. What steps do I need to take to
return the modem for a full refund? I have ask for assistance from
support@usr.com but have received nothing. Does USR(3Com) pretend to be
deaf when faced with a problem that they can't solve? Is it possible that
the NVRAM doesn't even exist in the Winmodem? Would you deceive me in this
manner? Please provide me with information on how I may contact a
supervisor about this matter.

The command AT&F1L1S7=30S11=50&W0 sets my NVRAM just fine, however the
command ATZ resets the NVRAM to factory default. This is not the way it's
suppose to work, what can be done? Will there be a fix for this problem?
This is my ninth request for assistance. I have yet to receive any help.
