Down here in North Carolina, most "throwaway" weeklies are in urban areas
such as Raleigh or Greensboro or Winston-Salem. They are widely read by
yuppie types and by urban soccer mom types. Their core readership seems in
the late 20s-early 40s and college graduates, based on ads.
