I was lucky: I purchased 'Alltype' - the font manipulation program, when 
it was still being produce. So, on CD I have nearly 3000 fonts! and 
if I need a special effect I can convert one to Geos format in no time 
flat.
In reality, though, the ones that I have on the hard drive are more than 
sufficient for my needs!
Keep an eye out: Alltype turns up occasionally in bins of remaindered 
software. If you see it, grab it! It is well worth having.
