I know this isn't terribly convenient for you, since you're housebound,
but:  Libraries have reference material which gives authors' addresses
(often their agents' or publishers' addresses rather than home addresses). 
The Anderson and Asprin addresses would probably be findable there, and
libraries do give information over the phone.
