Are you sure it isn't just after midnight?  That's when my
maintenance happens and messagesbases are compressed, various
things are backed up to my other HD, that sort of thing.  You
did remember to adjust your watch when you came over from NZ
didn't you?

Assuming you did, I don't know of anything.  What timespace
are you talking about?  Whenever mail comes in from anyone
it can take over a minute before the modem is answering 
again.  Give me a time range when you polled non-stop for
3 minutes without joy, and I'll look up the log and tell you
what happened.  BFN.  Paul.
