What version of Mystic are you running, and what is the fossil? Ambrosia ia
a Door32 game, and shouldn't need a fossil.

I also found this on Ambrosia's download site:

NOTE: The Sysop docs had a misprint.
Set the command line to: amblaunch.exe /N %N /D %F /SOCKET %H -SILENT

You will notice there is a %F after the /D
Remove the -SILENT to see the window locally
