I use my 2.8 under Win 95 often for the following operation:
I have a LaTex-file loaded, and when ready with editing I call my Latex-macro
to compile and view from within the editor.
This viewing maybe with some dvi-viewer (relatively quick), but if the file
contains (postscript-)pictures it is necessary to
view with gsview (relatively slow). To avoid this slow start of gsview, it is
possible to leave gsview loaded, and the next
time you call it, just click the mouse in the gsview-window and type 'R'
(reread) or whatever is applicable.
My question is: is it possible to recognize from within tse (in W95) the
presence of a loaded program, like gsview,
so as to avoid a new call to it? Even better: is it possible in that case to
jump to this program?
Thanks.
Sjoerd
PS to Sammy Mitchell: the recompiled qkeys-macro works fine now.
