Actually, such beasts do exist; the source requires a fair amount of tweaking
afterwards, and they do have problems, but they do exist.

It's also 8+ years old, and isn't worth the salt it's written with as a
useful starting point for writing new software. Anyone wishing to undertake
such a project it messing with their sanity if they wish to bring it up to
the levels required for todays software.
