That's true, altho I did find the rather odd place where he stashes his
records.

I saeem to have come to an impasse.  The GI complained that it couldn't
find the installation records.  I figured out how to deinstall 0.53. 
Then when I tried to install 0.56 that installer complained that the GI
was outdated and needed to be deinstalled.

Never having found any actual location for that, I elected to proceed
instead of trying to find how to deinstall it.

Then it stalled on a script error.  Later I managed to wheedle it past
that and it came to that WPS-Wiz thing.  I went past that as suggested. 
Then it told me nothing had been installed.

Thank God for backups.  I guess I don't need DVD recording nearly so bad
as I thought I might!
