 I am totally confused here, as I understand it Ross chose to move the messages
 to his bad messages area, so he did receive them. But he apparently does not

 If Ross chooses to move the messages to the bad messages area, that is
 controlled by the configuration of his system. You cannot claim that the
 sysop of the feeding system to be responsible for configuration of the system
 he feeds.

 Ross apologised for the missing entry in his echo distribution file.
 How, when and where the change in his distribution file happened, is
 everybodies guess and that it will remain. The only one who can shine a
 light on this change is Ross, if he maintains a history of his changes
 and has documented those changes.

 All the hence and forth is just guessing and the way it is done does not
 improove the atmosphere and relations in the echo's where this is discussed.

 Just my two cents.
