JM-> Yes, that's true, but I have developed a routine like that to a
JM-> program that sort netmails, up to 32000, by from, to, date, address,
JM-> etc, etc... Working with a limit of 32000 netmails each byte of
JM-> conventional memory is like a gold piece ;-)
Like I said, I shot for a practical limit, as my software has other things
in memory so I want to set limits which work with many platforms running
the software, from old 8088's to Pentiums. Thanks for the tips, however.
Hey, Jose, got a NICE, easy routine which allows me to load in the
body text of a netmail message into a safe memory location limited
only by the memory available? I think 66k is the practical limit here,
however.
Ya know... a buffer to hold the body text?
