subject: `DEATH RALLY` VIDEO PROBL

I just downloaded and installed Death Rally (#1RALLY.ZIP).
Archive extracted fine to C:\GAMES\RALLY.
I ran SETUP and configured my sound card correctly (it is a
SB16). Sound works fine. (BTW, how come SETUP only allows
you to configure sound? Other games let you configure
controllers, modem play and a lot else via SETUP.)
However, I only get video at the top AND bottom one inch of
my screen. And that segment of my video is very clear.
But everything in between is blacked out.
I am using a VESA-compliant Cirrus Logic 5426 video card w/
2 megs of VRAM. A registered copy of Display Doctor (SDD52)
is properly installed and permits me to run DUKE3D and other
games in VESA mode.
But for the above reason I cannot run Death Rally in any
mode - VESA or non-VESA.
(My PC is a 486-DX2-80mHz with 16 megs RAM.)
Any ideas, anyone?
