What is a "practicing geneologist"?

OK, the LDS want to baptize them, what do the Mormons want to
do with the dead?

Why?

Is 'yankee' the more modern mask used for American Indian?

There is no
English-French-German-Italian-Polish-Hungarian-Russian
"heritage" other than a few minor physical differences but
those can lay dormant (recessive genes) for many generations.

TA> Not everything in our modern world has a negative influence

As an American I fail to see the significance. Male/female and
adult/child and relatives within the 2nd cousin range are
important differences, everthing else is irrelevant to me.
Intermarriage with near-relatives giving rise to abnormalities
in the children and being illegal etc. Of course with short
fences and fence-hopping parents we may never know which is
probably one reason adultery has always been a taboo. Your
child could unknowingly marry a sibling.

You cannot inherit anything but physical appearances from
ancestors and what a person looks like is only marginally of
value in any real sense.

Much todo about nothing.
