subject: Re: Free WMP alternative?

I don't have a solution for fixing your current WMP "update", but
I can give
you a couple of alternative suggestions for playing WMA media.

[1] WinAmp v2.x. --- This version is very resource-friendly. I use it the
most. Get the WMA plugin to support MS's format.

[2] IrfanView --- The latest version supports playing audio files. I
configured it to to play all media on a Win98SE system (on which WMP also
had a problem) and the files play well.

Hope this helps.
