I'm amazed at the size of the shop that I've developed over the years. I
started model building with absolutely NO tools other than a single edged
razor blade. Then I broke down and bought a drill press. Then a scroll saw.
Next, a table saw. Then a shaper...and a power miter saw. Of course, I had to
buy a wood lathe. Last Christmas it was a bench disc/belt sander. Finally,
last June a compact 10" bandsaw. And my actual working surface is a converted
pool table. Even added an extra 15 amp circuit and a stereo :-). It's all a
far cry from the damp corner of the basement when I built my 1/4 scale Cub in
1985 (my "shop" was so poorly equiped that I actually had to hand carry my
vise to another room to do drilling because it was too dark to see anything
in the shop!).
