A couple of reminders:
1. The last 3 or so weeks, there have been a number of
political commentary type of messages.
Such messages are off-topic. Do not post such messages.
If you see such a message posted, do NOT respond to it.
Ignore it. Let the moderator handle it.
2. A few participants are not editing their quoting of
messages they are replying to.
Apparently they are using their off-line mail reader,
typing a short response at the top of the reply message,
and leaving the ENTIRE quoted message below it.
Please quote only BRIEF portions of the message you are
replying to. Only enough to remind readers of the context
of your reply.
I would thank all participants for giving their attention
to these matters. The echo guidelines follow in the next post.
I  will be contacting some individuals per netmail regarding
their posts.
