No, it's you that just doesn't get that it is the left-wing that is
forwarding that possibility, reveling in it even if it makes Bush look bad,
based on a few reports that likely bear little resemblence to the full
story; ignoring the ongoing conversations between the cleric, the governing
council, and the CPA. Indeed, the cleric (and this is not necessarily a bad
thing) is likely playing the press to help his negotiations - probably even
sent some messengers inside the bunker/bar where the NYTimes guys hang out
pretending to be reporting.

So the dribs and drabs of "news" get flavored into "Bush is
failing, the cleric is taking over" which is likely no more reflective
of the situation than matte black construction paper reflects light and
does no harm to Bush nor any good for anyone else.
