| subject: | Fidonet and forum software |
I recently sent an email asking if anyone knew of anyone that has figured out a way to get Fidonet (FTN) into a forum software such as phpBB or SMF (MySQL data handling)? I’d like to continue with my BBS, but it seems telnet BBSs are going the way of the dinosaur. Mark Lewis replied that someone did have something in php that tossed to phpBB but he didn't know anymore about it... the quoting format is all different and such but they may have done something to make it conform more to FTN when posts are scanned out for distribution. How about it? Does anyone have information about this? My biggest problem is that I don't know exactly what to search for on the 'net.
