A friend and I want to play modem2modem game but we are having a lot of 
problems.  I'm using a P75 w/16 ram and SE1440 modem while my friend has a 
IBM Aptiva 150 w16 ram and a MWAVE 28.8 modem.  We both have the registered 
version, setup our com ports, irqs etc correctly and baud is 9600.  When I 
dial, his modem let it ring 2-3 times then it response. And when it's 
searching for players, it goes ....+.+.+ found other player.  Whoever the 
master, they can get into the level but very wierd movement and the other 
person is left at the menu screen and gets disconnected.  I've tried playing 
other people and it works fine.  We didn't alter any of the CON files nor any 
duke files.  Also, we got Quake working but not duke!!  (so stupid that we 
can get a game that has very little modem options to work and a game with all 
the options not to work)
