If you have any interest in architecture, go to the Glasgow Art School, or
the Hill House in Helensburgh. Charles Rennie Mackintosh at his best. In
Glasgow the Burrell collection is well worth a day.
In Edinburgh, I suppose you have to do the Royal Mile thing. Rose Street
has a lot of pubs.
I would suggest St Andrews and the fishing villages in the East Neuk of Fife.
Drive from Stirling to Perth, and on to Inverness via Culloden. Culloden is
one of the two historical sites that personally affect me emotionally. (The
other is the Little Bighorn)
