Bob, at 08:08 on Tue, Oct 04 1994, you wrote to Bill Grimsley ...

BG> Jeeze, you really are writing a Rod-twitter after all. I

BL> I have actually *written* one, and the sense of power is

This may come as a great disappointment to you Bob, but it's not Rod who
vanishes, just his mail, and then only from your packets. I took up magic
once too, but after three years, my ex-wife hadn't disappeared, so I
eventually gave up. I particularly wanted to try sawing her in half, but
for some obscure reason, she wouldn't let me. What a bitch.

BL> It was a lot easier than I thought, but now Paul tells me I've
BL> done it all wrong so I'll have to do it again.

See, you should have stuck with OS/2, then you could have written a simple
Rexx utility, instead of having to stuff about with bloody C compilers, or
VB (is it a Windows app BTW?). |-)

BL> The thing I was using to identify the messages turned out to be his
BL> node number (ROFL).

Yeah, I noticed Paul mentioning that to you, and I cracked up when
imagining your Rod-Twitter trashing your entire TML packets (and
anything else posted from his board).

BL> I tell you what - the pkt halves in size when Rod disappears.

How do they halve? I thought you were overwriting, not deleting? |-)

Regards, Bill
