Hi Tony
TS>Hi Rob. I just got my system hooked into this echo. I've always wante
TS>to do some R/C flying but never got around to it. I once had a friend
TS>that built R/C planes. He has since moved and I don't know anyone into
TS>the hobby.
If you do it I'm sure you will have alot of fun. If you get ahold of the AMA
they should be able to give you ther names of any clubs in your area.
TS>I'd like to know, though, how I would get started in the hobby? Should
TS>get one of those cheap ones first and work my way in? How hard is it t
TS>get the hang of flying a R/C plane?
There are many good trainers out there, but in my opinion the best plane to
sta
t
with is a Goldberg Eagle. I learned on one and I've taught lots of people
ith
them and they are a very good trainer. As for the "How hard is it" It depends
:
It varies with each person. Some ppl pick it up in a few flights and some
take
longer. Try to find a club in your area and go and hang out and ask around to
s
e
what they recommend.
TTYL
Rob
