On Oct-11-94 Trev Roydhouse posted here the recently released
recommendations of the Computer Bulletin Boards Task Force Report.

Hello to All,

On my reading of these recommendations, references to language, foul or
otherwise, used in BBSes are conspicuous by their absence. This will not
please some in this echo, who seem to equate vulgar language with low moral
fibre and call for stern measures to stamp it out while at the same time
ignoring much more serious transgressions such as child pornography,
violence and drug abuse. I remind you that the thread where moral issues
were discussed here came under the heading "Foul language".
However, since the most outspoken contributors to this thread also
demonstrated their great proficiency in reading the white space in P4 while
sometimes referring to the printed lines with contempt, I have no doubt
that they will now apply their skills to the Task Force recommendations.
