The article I posted focused on the fears of the retention rates of the Army
*reserves*. There probably is a difference in re-up rates between the
regular and reserve forces. I would think that most reservists already had
other plans concerning their future and the ambiguity of the length of the
current conflict does nothing to lessen those concerns.

 They've already started offering citizenship for those immigrants who
serve. Maybe we need an American Foreign legion(s) for illegal aliens.
