Strategic bombing is no solution, and very well could make matters a
whole lot worse.  It simply is not the right thing to do in the
situation.  They had a much better approach going when they were
building opposition in the north with the Kurds, but they abandoned them
and let Saddam kill them off.

Iran is an equal threat, if not greater, when it comes to chemical and
biological weapons, and they are very close to having the ability to
deliver warheads to every mideast capitol.

Don't know Syria's current status weapons wise.

Israel is not an aggressor nation.  However, let Iraq or Iran lob a few
chemical or biological warheads at them, and the offender's capitol
would very quickly start glowing in the dark.  We have no concern about
Britain or France having nuclear weapons, nor should we have concern
about Israel having them.
