ROWWL - and nearly drowns ! Rescued by boat load of Sea Scouts, 
and resusitated by a Master of Arms wielding a huge bottle of 
Naval Liniment .... swears never to go to sea again...

Takes up chess with ex-American Episcopalian neighbour, discovers 
he can't tell his bishops from a queen and retires to take up 
reading King's "Penguin History of NZ"  ... swears never to assume 
penguinness ... Guiness ?  I don't if I do, thankee kindly...
