Thanks for the info...well I had a 14.4 USR modem and it broke down.  So I 
went modem hunting...and I saw the price difference between 33.6 and 56K.  
ONot much of a difference so I went ahead and chose the 56KFlex since my ISP 
said that they were gonna go with the 56KFlex.
