Yes, but he always came across so boring with the droning monologue. Even
now when he occasionally pounds his fist on the podium his face remains the
same as if to say, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to pound the podium."
I think he's pretty much relegated to the "Gephardt Effect" now -
he's been here as the VP candidate and he's been there (the Senate) too
long, to break out and move it to the next level now.
