I purchased 3 months ago a Pacific Data DVD Unit (This One IIRC
http://www.pacificdigital.com/products.asp?gpcid=5&cid=31&scid=116&ItemID=786>)

I have not tried writing DVD or CD with it yet under OS/2, but it works
great with Installing OS/2 Warp 4.51 and reading DVD's...

I paid $79.95 with a $30.00 rebate..
